In light of recent community tragedies, including a devastating mother-daughter murder-suicide and the loss of a Seein is Believin teen, "Feeding Our Bodies, Feeding Our Souls: The Mother's Mental Health Moment" aims to urgently address and destigmatize the mental health needs of mothers, particularly those of color.
This empowering event will focus on building mental resilience and providing mothers with the education and tools they need to support both themselves and their children during mental health crises. The event will serve as a safe space for mothers to engage in candid conversations about mental health while enjoying a nourishing soul food dinner
